Rose Memorial Library is re-dedicating the Francis E. Eagan Children’s Room on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 3:00pm.
Francis Edward Eagan, who died on June 6, 2000, was a resident of Stony Point for 47 years and served on the Zoning Board and Planning Board, and was Tax Assessor. Francis was on the Board of Directors of Stony Point’s Ambulance Corps and served as Treasurer. He was a longtime trustee of Rose Memorial Library. In 1999, the library named him Trustee Emeritus and renamed the Children’s Room to the Francis E. Eagan Children’s Room in his honor.
