Ambulance Corps had open house
STONY POINT: The Stony Point Ambulance Corps had its open house March 6. Corps members got to show off the rigs, talk about what it means to be a member and how to become one, gave helpful safety information and handouts, and describe the ambulance corps’ new building plans. The corps is located at 6 Lee Ave., where it has been since 1946. The corps has three ambulances and is severely limited in crew and meeting quarters. The corps lans to move to a new location on Route 9W. The new building will have the room to accommodate all of the ambulances and will provide room for community outreach and training programs, as well as a new state-of-the-art operations center.
