| The Stony Point Ambulance Youth Squad is a group of young adults, aged 14-18, who are sponsored by the Stony Point Ambulance Corps in Stony Point, NY. The youth squad conducts meetings on Tuesday evenings throughout the school year and occasionally participates in special activities and events. Youth squad members may participate in a ride-along program in which they may observe and actively participate in responding to emergencies and treating and transporting patients with the ambulance under the auspices of a highly skilled crew of medical professionals. Youth squad members must attain a minimal amount of medical training and orientation to operations and equipment. At no time do youth squad members operate the emergency vehicle. Youth squad members find their involvement richly rewarding, affording them social and professional opportunities that they will be able to carry with them into adulthood. *For more information, call us at (845)786-5990 or stop by on a Tuesday evening at 6 Lee Avenue in Stony Point, NY. | ||||||||||
