Stony Point Ambulance Youth Squad

	The Stony Point Ambulance Youth Squad is a group of young adults, aged 14-18, who are sponsored by the Stony Point Ambulance Corps in Stony Point, NY. The youth squad conducts meetings on Tuesday evenings throughout the school year and occasionally participates in special activities and events. Youth squad members may participate in a ride-along program in which they may observe and actively participate in responding to emergencies and treating and transporting patients with the ambulance under the auspices of a highly skilled crew of medical professionals. Youth squad members must attain a minimal amount of medical training and orientation to operations and equipment. At no time do youth squad members operate the emergency vehicle. 		Some of our members had a great time at a county-wide formal recognition dinner.





		Youth Squad members went on a camping trip where they learned about wilderness emergencies.

	The youth squad elects its own line officers to help plan and carry out youth squad funtions. These line officers helped plan the youth squad attendance at the Stony Point Ambulance Corps. Dinner.





		Youth squad members helped with paperwork and recruited donors for the Ambulance Corps blood drive.


	The youth squad members help plan and haunt a Halloween Haunted House every year for the community.
